Connect South Africa presents accommodation in
St James and Kalk Bay
The exclusive seaside suburb of St James, along the False Bay Coast, has a small, safe family beach which is characterized by a row of wooden bathing hust that have all been painted in bright colours.
The picturesque little fishing harbour of Kalk Bay adjoins St James and is a great place for buying fresh fish, particularly snoek, which is caught and sold daily and sold directly from the fishing boats which berth at Kalk Bay harbour. Kalk Bay has many small, trendy, restaurants and cafes, several specialising in organic and vegertarian cuisine.
Kalk Bay is also famous for it's antique and second-hand shops where you can spend many a happy hour browsing in the hope of finding that undiscovered Picaso or rare piece of china!
